-ABOUT US- James E. Holland left his full-time position as City Attorney and Prosecutor of Horn Lake, Mississippi in 1996 to go into private practice.  Mr. Holland presently serves as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Horn Lake and continues to practice privately at Holland Law, P.C., Attorneys at Law. In 1996 the emphasis was mainly on criminal and municipal law as well as flood plain litigation.  The offices expanded to full service in 2006 when J. Wesley Hisaw joined the firm with his principal background in real estate and basic family law.  With the added workload, the paralegal staff increased to three full time paralegals in 2007.  The firm is presently interviewing to further expand and better serve client needs. The current case load is criminal, family, corporate, wills and estates, advanced estate planning, workers compensation and medical negligence.  Since Mr. Holland's appointment to City Judge in 2001, the firm is unable to take any cases which originate or lie within Horn Lake.  Current clients come from DeSoto County as well as Tunica, Coahoma, Boliver, Tate, Panola, Marshal, Union and Lafayette counties in Mississippi. County Tax Collector and Assessor and law enforcement have been represented by Holland Law, P.C., Attorneys at Law and the firm is an approved VA  attorney by the Veteran's Administration.  They have represented banks, chemical companies, municipalities, and counties as well as the private sector.  The firm is proficient on both sides of representation.
